Code of Conduct

The Channel Cities Jazz Club (hereafter referred to as the “Club”) retains the right to refuse admission to anyone who does not adhere to Club policies described below, as it relates to the conduct of Club members, their guests and all others who are seeking to gain admission into or are in attendance at Club dances and events.

Members and attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and respectful manner toward all persons in attendance and the property wherein Club events are held. Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a way that promotes a positive social, dance and listening experience for themselves and others at Club events. Rude and/or raucous behavior is not permitted and may result in removal or refusal of admittance to Club events.

Inappropriate conduct and behavior may include, but is not limited to, abuse of alcohol and narcotics, obvious symptoms of intoxication, challenging to fight, bullying, inappropriate, overly revealing attire, and/or offensive attire or insignias that promote discrimination or violence towards another person or group.

We encourage everyone in attendance at Club events to enjoy themselves. This policy is in place to help ensure Club events remain a safe and positive environment that promotes dancing and live Swing Jazz music along with other styles.
