Lenny and Susan LaCroix
| Lenny LaCroix was born in
Chicopee, Massachusetts too many years ago. At age six he
began playing the piano and shortly thereafter started piano
lessons. At age twelve he formed his first band, which he
lead, played and arranged for. At age 17 he attended the
Hartt College of Music of the University of Hartford.
He completed the four-year course in three years. He was first in his class for the first two years and graduated cum laude. During his undergraduate years he formed his second band, a jazz quartet, which competed and won second place in the Georgetown Intercollegiate Jazz Festival. After graduation he went on to attain his Masters degree.
In 1969 he relocated to Los Angeles where he has worked as a pianist, arranger, conductor and composer for a rather eclectic group of clients who include but are not limited to:
The Academy Awards (6 years), Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Barbra Streisand, Debbie Reynolds, Donald O’Conner, Ice Capades, Julie Andrews, Bette Midler, Jim Henson, Shirley MacLaine, Ann Margret, Sid Caesar and Imogene Cocoa, Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Siegfried and Roy, Carol Burnett, and Lucille Ball.
